Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026 · Applies to the OgraNet app for Android and to this website

In short: OgraNet is a proxy client. It does not log the websites you visit, your DNS queries or the content of your traffic, and it has no account or sign-up. The subscription you add stays on your device. We process only the minimum needed to answer your support requests.

1. Who we are

The OgraNet app is developed and published by TIAMO Sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland, with its registered office at ul. Dworcowa 16b u1, 50‑529 Wrocław, Poland (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions about it can be sent to support@ogranet.tech.

2. What the app does

OgraNet routes the traffic of your device (or of the apps you select) through a proxy server that you choose. The servers come from a subscription link or a server config that you add yourself — from any provider. OgraNet does not operate those servers and does not sit between your device and them: the connection is encrypted directly between your device and the server you picked.

3. What we do not collect

  • Browsing history, visited domains or IP addresses of the resources you connect to.
  • DNS queries.
  • The content of your traffic.
  • Your IP address. The app does not talk to any server of ours while you use it.
  • Your subscription link, server configs or credentials. They are stored only on your device.
  • Your name, e-mail or phone number — the app has no account or sign-up.
  • Contacts, photos, location, advertising identifiers or any other data from your device that the app does not need.

4. What we process and why

4.1 Support requests

When you e-mail support we see your e-mail address and keep the correspondence and anything you attach (for example a diagnostic log you chose to export from the app) for as long as needed to resolve the request, and then up to 12 months in case you come back with the same problem.

4.2 Diagnostic logs

The app can write a local diagnostic log to help troubleshoot connection problems. It stays on your device and is sent to us only if you export and share it yourself. The log contains connection events, server names and error messages; it does not contain your browsing activity. Diagnostic (verbose) mode is off by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings.

4.3 Google Play

Google may provide us with anonymous, aggregated install and crash statistics through the Google Play Console under Google's own policies. We do not embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

5. Your subscription provider

When you add a subscription, the app periodically downloads the server list from the subscription URL. That request goes to your provider, not to us, and your provider sees the request the way any web server does (your IP address, the time, the app's user agent). What the provider does with your data, including the traffic that passes through its servers, is governed by the provider's own privacy policy. Please read it before adding a subscription.

6. Legal basis

We process support correspondence because it is necessary to answer the request you sent us — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — and to keep the app working and secure, which is our legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where your consent is required, for example for a diagnostic log you share, you give it by taking the corresponding action.

7. Data storage and retention

  • Support correspondence and attachments: up to 12 months after the request is closed.

Support mail is stored with our e-mail provider under data-processing terms. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone except providers acting on our behalf, or where the law obliges us to.

8. Data on your device

The app keeps your subscription link, the server list, your chosen settings (selected server, per-app routing rules, diagnostic mode) and the optional diagnostic log in the app's private storage. Removing the subscription in Settings or uninstalling the app deletes them.

9. Permissions the app asks for

  • Connection permission: Android's standard permission that lets an app route device traffic. Requested once, on first connect.
  • Notifications: to show the persistent “connected” notification Android requires while the connection is active.
  • Installed apps list: only to let you choose which apps go through the proxy. The list is not sent anywhere.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or to stop processing it. E-mail the request from the address you used to contact support so that we can find it. We answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority — for us that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office of Poland (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00‑193 Warsaw), or the authority in your own EU/EEA country.

11. Children

The app is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced on this website. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
